The Most Effective Way to Design a Popup Display

At the majority of trade shows displays, the rear of the space is covered with a display such as a PopUp Display. This gives you the opportunity to make a striking statement about your company and/or its products and services

Of course you can just set your popup against the back wall, place a table in front of it, spread out your brochures, and away you go. But there are better ways to do it. You should pay special attention to the space requirements and the specifications of your popup display, then design your space around it.

First, since she has come some distance to check out a number of specific exhibits, chances are she is looking for a familiar name or logo. Give them what they want. Use striking trade show graphics to display your logo in an obvious place near the top of the display. That way it will be as visible as possible above the heads of the people standing in front.

Concentrate on keeping it near the top of your display, on one, or possibly two lines, in the place where it will probably get maximum exposure.

The important thing to remember is that prospects are not usually going to walk up to your popup and read the information on it. That is why a “graphic” approach is much more realistic than an informational approach. If you are considering sticking a lot of information-intensive illustrations or photos on your display because you think that will do a better job of communicating your message, forget it. It won’t. The location, the environment, and the desire are just not right for this to happen.
